Users of the Odum Institute catalog and poll questionnaire search pages can request a detailed catalog record for each study in the Data Archive which will include the names of all data and documentation files associated with that study. File names will appear in the detailed catalog display only if the user is authorized to access them. If a file name is highlighted, it may be downloaded by clicking on it. Currently, most but not all Odum Institute files are downloadable in this manner.
After you click on a file name, a screen will appear that will give you information on the compresssed and uncompressed size of the file you are about to download. If you choose to download any file in uncompressed form or a very large file in compressed form, make sure that it is not too large for your platform's disk storage and effective download speed. In particular, do not attempt to download very large files if you are connecting via a telephone modem. Such connections can take up to 30 minutes to download only one megabyte of data.
